Developer

Dionic Software is a 4-person indie studio based in Munich, Germany. The company was founded in January 2019 and its first games Founders’ Fortune and InfraSpace have entertained more than 580k players for over 6.6 million hours so far. HavenCraft is the third and largest title of the studio.

The Game

HavenCraft is a third-person sandbox town-building game. That means:

The player does not place pre-made houses, but the houses are made out of smaller wall and floor pieces, similar to games like Minecraft and Valheim.
Contrary to many other sandbox building games, the NPC townspeople have important jobs to do throughout the day. If these tasks are not accomplished, the production chains collapse and the town economy suffers.
In the same vein, the townspeople consume the goods produced by the town economy.
Unsatisfied townspeople will leave the settlement.
This focus on a functional town makes the player-built world feel more alive.

The game can be played alone or in multiplayer mode to work on the same town with friends.

Current State

The HavenCraft Steam Demo releases on September 24th 2026.
HavenCraft will take part in the October Steam Next Fest.
HavenCraft will be released into Early Access in November 2026.

Access photo mode with F4
Cheats and secrets: Enable dev mode in the settings, then use F3 in game
Check the game settings for all kinds of quality-of-life features. For example, you can disable the yellow plot lines if you prefer your videos and thumbnails without them.
