It’s time for another HavenCraft Update!
If you are already signed up for the playtest, you can find the update link in the main menu of the game or in your signup email. You can just install over your old version; no need to uninstall it first.
Let us know if there are any issues and happy playing!
Changes
- Features
- If the client of a multiplayer game is losing connection to the host, you will get warning messages before it ultimately times out if there is no reconnection.
- Bugfixes
- Fixed an issue were villagers would wander off while talking to them (@nathann, @Charlotte on Discord, link).
- Fixed an issue where the research tree was slightly cut off at 100% UI scale.
- Fixed an issue where the game would refuse to start when it saw certain unknown input devices.
- Fixed an issue where villagers would forget their work orders if you entered a specific number with the keyboard and then exited the panel through pressing escape (@Glass on Discord).
- Fixed an issue where plot data was not properly managed, leading to errors for the client of a multiplayer game (@Glass on Discord).
- Fixed an issue where saving the settings could fail if the windows filesystem didn’t release the file handles quickly enough.
- Fixed an issue where the automatic multiplayer re-join feature would break the main menu in certain circumstances.
- Fixed an issue where the “next-day” logic could get messed up in multiplayer if all players sleep, then a client wakes up, then the client disconnects. The game thought everybody is sleeping again so wanted to go back to sleep twice for the same night.
- Fixed an issue where the client could give errors if the player tried to use the axe before all the necessary animation replication data was downloaded from the host.
Big thanks to everyone that reported bugs and gave feedback!
